When is the I-10 Shootout Tournament?
The tournament is January 9-11, 2025.
Where is the tournament?
Games are played at 10 KISD High School campuses with the (8) Varsity Championship Games held at Legacy and Rhodes Stadiums on Saturday.
How big is the tournament?
The tournament features 64 Varsity teams and 48 JV teams representing all four Texas UIL regions with over 2000 student-athletes participating in this three-day event that drew roughly 8,000 - 12,000 spectators.
What is the purpose of this tournament?
The main purpose of the tournament is to provide scholarships for all qualified senior girls in Katy ISD that participate in the tournament. Plus playing meaningful competition to prepare for the season and win a trophy.
What money goes to scholarships?
As a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, money collected from the following list, minus expenses, are split evenly between ALL qualified applicants. Sponsors - businesses in the community and surrounding areas. Ticket Sales - pre-sold online and at each site. Merchandise - pre-sold online and at each site. Donations - sold online
Can any business sponsor the tournament?
Absolutely! If you have a business or know anyone interested in sponsoring the tournament please reach out to the President of the Association and we will provide information. Charitable donations are also welcome. president.i10shootout@gmail.com
How can I help?
Buy tickets and Merchandise to support our athletes. Pre-sales are available. Volunteer at your kids school to help run individual game day tournament activities. This is the easiest way to help. (see your coach for more information). If you are a business owner or know someone that might be interested in sponsorship please let the association know. We have many different sponsorship levels.
I-10 Shootout Tournament History
The I-10 Shootout tournament is hosted by the I-10 Shootout Tournament Association in partnership with Katy Independent School District (KISD). We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization who assembles the largest High School girls soccer tournament in Texas. We believe participating in soccer benefits high school student-athletes by teaching self-discipline, teamwork, and the setting and maintaining of high standards of sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity. The lessons learned in high school extracurricular activities, such as soccer, have a positive impact on our children, the leaders of tomorrow and prepare the student-athlete for challenges they will encounter after they graduate from high school.
